The standard gas engine is a mighty 6.6L V8 making 401 horsepower and 464lb-ft of torque, passed through a six-speed automatic transmission to either rear-wheel or all-wheel drive.
And while there's no doubt that the gas mill provides an enviable level of performance, switching to the diesel option takes things to an entirely new level. The optional Duramax 6.6L diesel V8 pushes the ponies up to 445 hp, but boosts the torque to a highly impressive 910lb-ft to make short work of even the toughest of payload and towing tasks. This mighty output is passed through an Allison ten-speed automatic transmission to all-wheel drive for a smooth and responsive drive even when fully laden.
